About this course

Join a 12-week virtual Learning Community for Supervisors of Peer Support Workers to improve your knowledge and skills. The Learning Community will provide supervisors of peer workers in diverse treatment and recovery support service settings an opportunity to explore, learn, and practice skills for supervising and supporting peer workers.

The Learning Community is led by Cheryl Gagne and facilitated by national leaders in peer support services and models. It meets once a week and features plenary presentations and small group discussions to help you practice and apply skills. Participants set personalized goals, and the Learning Community provides coaching and resources to assist in implementing your goals.

Meet the Trainer

Cheryl Gagne, ScD, is a subject matter expert, trainer, and technical assistance provider for substance use, mental health, and recovery initiatives. She develops skill-based curricula for providers including peer workers. She also directs a training program for Massachusetts addiction professionals. Throughout her career, Cheryl has developed and delivered training interventions to meet the learning needs of diverse groups of healthcare providers and behavioral health and public health programs in the US and abroad.

Training certificates

Certificates of Completion are awarded to participants who attended the entire training day, completed the training evaluation form, and the certificate request form. Certificates will be emailed directly to participants roughly two weeks after the completion of the training.
