Trauma in the Lives of Vulnerable Children and Youth
Description
This five session bundle will provide an overview of the concepts of vulnerability, risk & protective factors, and resilience. The impact of adverse childhood experiences is reviewed with a focus on how traumatic stress impacts developmental trajectories. Using an ecological lens, interventions to minimize risk and support resilience at the individual child, family, and environmental levels are discussed.
